the Fusion earns its name as the perfect blend of both worlds.

As its name suggests, the Fusion is a true hybrid electric foil system, bringing together the best of both worlds in one neat, versatile package. Simply mount between nearly ANY hydrofoil board and mast with our latest snap-on propulsion.

An Efoil Alternative, the Fusion is the ideal tool for long rides, learners and performance riders alike.

Why an alternative? Because the Fusion isn't limited to just an EFoil like others. By simply switching to a shorter motor cable length, it transforms into an extremely powerful, long-runtime Foil Assist.

Maintaining the lightweight, sleek, hydrodynamic form of the Assist range, the Fusion delivers greater power and longer runtime thanks to the Fusion 860 Battery (864 Wh) and 43 volt electronics.

Riders can enjoy a sportier feel without compromising on thrust and boost thanks to the NEW FM+650 Battery (650Wh) and early in 2027 the even smaller, FM+430 Battery.

The Fusion / MAX+ Gen 2.5 43v battery ecosystem allows a broad range of weight and runtime options that are cross-compatible with the Fusion.

The battery is a separate, removable unit with a fully enclosed, single-piece housing and integrated nose cone for maximum durability, a higher water rating, and improved long-term reliability. This rugged, self-contained design also makes swapping, transporting, and protecting your power source effortless.

All of this is packed into a small, diverse system that can be removed at any time, or installed onto a different setup in minutes.

One Tool, Endless Possibilities.

Unlike the other two systems in the Gen2 range, the Fusion doesn't carry the "Assist" in its name. Thanks to its technical advancements, it stands apart in its own subcategory, Gen2.5.

What makes the Fusion different from a traditional eFoil?

The Fusion delivers similar power and runtime to an eFoil, but without locking you into a single riding style. You can switch cable lengths and ride it as a powerful foil assist, giving you far more flexibility across surf, wing, downwind, wake, and flatwater.

Is the Fusion suitable for beginners?

Yes. The Fusion is ideal for learners thanks to its longer runtime, smooth power delivery, and optional tilt sensor that automatically cuts the motor if you fall. It allows riders to progress at their own pace with added confidence.

How much runtime can I expect?

Runtime varies depending on rider weight, skill level, board and wing size, throttle use, and water and weather conditions. The figures below are indicative real-world averages.

How are these runtime figures measured?

The E-Foil figures are based on an 85 kg rider using an 800 cm² wing and 5'0" 40 L board in flat-water conditions, with the throttle at approximately 70%. An intermediate rider will typically have multiple touch-downs, falls and restarts, while an advanced rider has no touch-downs or falls.

The Surf figures are based on an 85 kg rider using an 800 cm² wing and 5'0" 40 L board in approximately 3 ft swell with less than 5 knots of wind. An intermediate rider has high motor reliance and does not pump between waves, with multiple falls and restarts. An advanced rider has medium motor reliance, links some waves by pumping, and has minimal falls and restarts.

Please note: Runtime can vary significantly depending on rider weight, skill level, gear sizing, throttle use, wave conditions, wind and other environmental factors. These figures are intended as an indicative guide based on real-world averages, not a guaranteed runtime.

How powerful is the Fusion compared to other Foil Drive systems?

The Fusion delivers the same power and thrust as the Assist MAX+. With the Fusion 860 battery, it offers longer runtime, while pairing it with the FM+ 650 provides the same power, thrust and battery capacity as the MAX+ with FM+ 650.

Compared to the Assist Slim, the Fusion delivers approximately 40% more power and thrust, making it better suited to heavier riders, smaller boards, higher speeds and more demanding conditions.

What’s the difference between Assist Slim, MAX+ and Fusion?

The Assist MAX+ is the all-rounder that balances power, weight, and runtime for all riders and disciplines. It is lighter and more versatile, making it ideal for everyday use and travel.

Assist Slim is the lightest system and ideal for shorter, more agile sessions, while the Fusion provides maximum power and runtime, offering eFoil-like performance for longer sessions or heavier riders, but it is heavier overall.

Does the Fusion have travel batteries?

We do not currently have travel batteries for the gen2.5 Foil Drives. However, we are working on a solution for travelling with your Foil Drive.

How do I know which kit is right for me?

Each Foil Drive system offers a different balance of weight, power, and runtime.

Assist Slim is generally for the performance rider wanting assisted pop-ups only.

The Assist MAX+ provides a balance of power and endurance for all-round use.

Fusion offers the power and runtime of an Efoil with the lightness and adaptability of an Assist.
