The team, led by founder Amos, is deeply connected to the sport, drawing inspiration and feedback from an international team of riders to continually refine and release new boards, including the new KrUzer by Josh Ku, perfect for Foildriving. Amos, a passionate surfer and adventurer from the Mid North Coast of NSW, has spent years surfing and testing his boards across the Pacific and Indian Oceans. His deep understanding of wave dynamics and board performance has shaped Amos Shapes into an internationally recognized brand. Now based in Lennox Head, Amos continues to innovate and share his love for the ocean with the next generation. After joining the Foil Drive Team, Josh Ku work with Amos to create a board perfect for both Foildriving and traditional Foiling.

With the infinite popularity of the Kruzer and its success with the Foil Drive System we have now designed a dedicated Foil Drive board.

Amos Shapes have increased this boards performance with Foil Drive by adding a Recessed Track System (RTS) and Enhanced Connection Window (ECW).  This recess will decrease the resistance of the battery on the bottom of the board for more efficiency in paddling and lift off. The ECW is a window cut in the carbon on the deck to allow for the Foil Drive bluetooth transmission to travel through the board space easier.

Inspired by two years of riding the Raptor, team rider Josh Ku focused on enhancing paddle power and refining the rail outline for better performance. The KrUzer's narrower width maximizes paddle speed for a smooth and efficient takeoff, making it a perfect fit for its name. Originally designed for prone use, the KrUzer has also been adapted for Foil Drive enthusiasts, offering a larger version that's versatile enough for winging, Foil Drive, and prone. Inspired by classic designs like the Gerry Lopez pipeline lightning bolt boards, the KrUzer features a distinctive spray and deck grip design for a unique aesthetic touch.

What is the construction of the Kruzer?

The Kruzer has specifically designed high inserts for maximised strength where board connects to foil. With Aussie made EPS foam, 10.75" fin boxes and Carbon vacuum bagging for strength, these boards are solid and super light!

What is the connectivity like with the Amos Board and Foil Drive?

While majority have no dramas with connectivity, if you are riding a significantly small board for your size and ability, you'll need to perfect controller placement to ensure you have an uninterrupted ride. The air vent allowing for connection to pass through the carbon!
