Built on our proven Gen2.5 platform, the Assist MAX+ delivers more power, improved efficiency and smarter technology while maintaining the balanced ride that made the original Assist MAX a go-to choice for riders across every discipline.

Designed for riders who won't specialise, the Assist MAX+ provides the perfect balance of power, weight and runtime. Whether you're surfing, wing foiling, downwinding, wake foiling or exploring flatwater, it adapts to the way you ride without the need for discipline-specific setups.
The North Ultra High Modulus Carbon Mast is 25% thinner with a 14% shorter chord length than the AF80 FD Mast, dramatically reducing drag and enhancing manoeuvrability. This allows faster acceleration onto the foil and smoother, more efficient glide once airborne.
Featuring a state-of-the-art monocoque design, the motor pod is seamlessly integrated 18 cm from the baseplate, providing balanced propulsion while keeping the propeller high enough to avoid interference when foiling. At 80 cm ride height, it's ideal for assisted prone surf, downwind foiling and extended rides with minimal battery consumption.

The new Foil Drive Assist MAX+ is a serious upgrade. Right from the first drop, you can feel noticeably more power compared to the standard Assist MAX, with everything running super smooth in the water. The new battery is a massive improvement, and being able to track exact battery percentages adds complete peace of mind during setup. Paired with the FM+ 650, the performance is phenomenal. Having everything ready right out of the box including the Mini Pod and Split Bolts makes the initial assembly seamless and elevates the entire ride experience.

Loving the extra power and runtime, sooooo good.
It is a real improvement compared to the standard high-power battery. Before buying, I was not sure because of the extra weight of the Max+, but you don't feel it and it feels more balanced on the water. The extra battery life is definitely there. Storage and charging are straightforward with the 43V charger. It's a costly investment, but it really changes the experience and the feeling on the water.
